About Walter Forsyth
Walter produces the web series, Everyone's Famous, winner of a Canadian Comedy Award and nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards. He directed The Luckiest Most Unlucky Man in the World; produced How to Be Alone (8 million views on YouTube), won TIFF's Pitch This, received a Sundance Doc Fund grant, and produced the award winning dramatic feature, The Disappeared. He directed the Scott Pilgrim music video that spawned the graphic novel series and feature film, Scott Pilgrim Versus the World. He founded the Halifax Independent Filmmakers Festival as Executive Director of The Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative, co-founded the Canadian Surf Film Festival, sat on the board of directors at the Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival for six years and is Vice-Chair of DOC Atlantic. He teaches film studies and is the Development Coordinator at Lunenburg Doc Fest.
