For over 20 years, Blender is a free, Open Source 3D Animation package empowering everyone to create 3D content. The Blender 2.8 is a truly significant milestone. I will explain reasons behind this development and outline the changes in the software.

I am a Halifax-based 3D Modeler. I have worked in the animation industry for over 15 years. I worked in various companies, including DHX Animation Studio producing 3D content for children's programming for CBC Kids, Teletoon, Netflix and Amazon Studios.
